Internet

One thing about the internet is, no one really owns it. It is a global collection of networks that connect together in many different ways. The name internet comes from the idea of interconncected networks. The main computer in your house will be connected or an Internet Service Provider (ISP), which is the main location of your internet. All the computers in your house or business will conncet to this and get internet from it.


Computer Memory

Computer memory is a device that is used to store data on a temporary or permanent basis for a later use. Memory is stored in a binary code, which is a combination of 0's and1's. Each binary digit, or bit, may be stored by any physical system tp represent 0 and 1.

Motherboard

The motherboard, also known as the main system, is the main part of the computer; everything is attached to it one way or another. It is the central ciruit board of your computer and it's job is to commicuate information between all the things that plug into it.

Mouse

A mouse is a input device that is used to control the cursor on the monitor. A mouse makes performing functions simple by allowing you to move your curson freely around the screen. The mouse is also known for the easy point and click navagation.







Keyboard

The keyboard is an input device modled after the typwriter, which has a letter a key. The letters are used as switches with symbols or letters. Everytime a switch is turned on, a letter appears on the screen.
